As a nonprofit financial institution, we are owned by our members and are organized solely to meet your financial needs.

Founded in Allen Park, Rivers Edge community Credit Union has been providing financial services to members for more than 60 years. Our field of membership is open to people who live, work or attend school in 15 Downriver communities bounded by the area that has the Rouge River to the north, the Detroit River to the east, the Huron River to the south and Inkster Road to the west.

Because you are not just a member but also an owner of Rivers Edge, it is our responsibility to listen to what you have to say about your financial needs and desires – and, whenever possible, to put what you say into action!

Rivers Edge is a full-service credit union offering the same services as most other financial institutions with one major exception – we believe service goes beyond offering loans, savings accounts and checking accounts, and we believe that service also includes some old-fashioned courtesy and a friendly greeting.
