To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you; When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

OSB Community Bank was founded in 1907 in Onsted, Michigan. We remain a locally owned, independent community bank with three offices serving what is known as the Greater Irish Hills Area.

We are a Community Leader. The Board of Directors, Senior Management Group, Officers and Staff are committed to this practice. We realize that banking is more than processing a deposit or making a loan. It is volunteering time to various community organizations and committees as well as donating much needed money to community programs.

Through our commitment we may help a young person learn to read or bring exhibits to area schools in hope students will better understand our culture. We will promote teamwork within the classroom and work to increase the understanding of our government’s economic systems. These efforts enforce our youth’s belief in the importance of education, not only now but as an ongoing process throughout one’s life.

We are proud to be able to provide much needed funds to local units of government to purchase police cars, computer radar programs that may warn our communities of threatening weather, fire and rescue equipment that may save a life, and voting equipment which contains updated technology to ensure each individuals right to cast a simple ballot. We work to provide guidance, assistance and low cost financial products to area religious organizations as they continue to reach out, grow and prosper under the fundamental rights on which our country was based.
